Queen Imani made an appearance at our first 2012 Illinois Dream Girls U.S.A. Workshop along with some of my other sister Queens, and volunteered at the Zeta Phi Beta Recognition Ceremony at Eastern Illinois University. The ceremony recognizes outstanding collegiate women for their achievements.

Queen Savannah volunteering at the Pets Come First animal shelter yesterday 12/10/11. The shelter was formerly the SPCA and was shut down due to lack of funding. But Pets Come First took it over and is giving it an overhaul and we were cleaning and preparing it for the animals for its grand opening on January 1st. |

| Queen Megan volunteering at the Now Then Heritage days. She volunteered all day at the petting zoo getting food for people to feed to the animals. She also helped keep Festice (the goat) coralled and showed people all the different animals they had there! We had such a great time!! They loved having Megan help out. |

Here are some fun photos of the Mud Stomp Megan participated in in St. Paul Park. They are creating the mud for a mud volley ball tournament being held at the park. All of Minnesota royalty are invited to the annual tradition of making the mud!! As you can tell Megan had a great time and was a complete mess by the end of the day!!!

Queen Elizabeth ran the 1k and walked the 5k. She raised a little over $ 475 for breast cancer research.
She also got to volunteer at the education booth with a very nice young lady named Katie. Katie actually works for Komen & asked Elizabeth if she would be intresed in more volunteering with her. |

Queen Imani Muse at Swish Dreams, which integrates Math and Reading principals with sports, which allows teachers to build on the conceptual and cultural knowledge that students bring with them to the classroom. They had their first annual Girls Clinic where I was part of the visiting royalty and had a chance to talk to girls and make new friends.

| Queen Katelyn and another girl hosted a pizza/pajama party to let the girls get to know each other, practice on the pajama runway, and just having a fun time. The pageant came next in which Katelyn helped MC and crowned the new title holders. Last but not least was riding in the parade and making a appearance at the celebration. |

West Michigan appearance on Armed Forces Day. We were invited to visit a local nursing/rehab facility, we visited Gerald R. Ford Museum and his resting place, and finally we attended a West Michigan Whitecaps Baseball Game ( where we led the crowd in "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" in the 7th inning stretch!!

The mini relay for life happens every year where we help raise money to help find a cure for cancer. I walked with other Illinois Queen from different pageant systems to help make a difference.
